BOTOX®INJECTIONS

A consultation will first be arranged to determine whether BOTOX® is right for you.  Consultations and injections are under the direction of our medical director Dr Alison MacCallum. Our Registered nurse, Lesley Williams has been working in the cos-medical field for many years. Lesley is trained and certified as an injector. 
During a client consultation, we will make sure that it is suitable to treat the area that bothers you. 

During a BOTOX injection procedure at The CAS Spa in Halifax, a tiny amount ofBOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into the muscle creating the dynamic wrinkle.  The amount is determined by the problem and the client’s physiology.  The needle used for the injection is so fine that discomfort is minimal; most clients say “it’s similar to a bug bite.”  However, topical anaesthesia can be applied prior to injection in order to reduce discomfort.  There is no discomfort felt from the actual BOTOX®Cosmetic product.  Nerve impulse to the muscle is blocked completely resulting in its relaxation.  As the muscle can no longer contract as easily, this, in turn, smoothes the wrinkle in the skin overlying the muscle, helping you look relaxed, refreshed, and more youthful.   Gradual improvement may occur over the course of a couple of weeks, and results last for months.  Results are subtle, yet make you look incredibly refreshed.

A BOTOX® injection at The CAS Spa in Halifax is so fast and easy that you could even do it over a lunch hour, and then walk or drive yourself back to the office or home to resume normal activities without complication!  A single procedure, after the first consultation generally lasts 15-30 minutes depending on the extent of correction desired.

The treatment administered by your cosmetic injector involves subtle and strategically placed Juvéderm™ injections under the skin to restore and boost individual facial features. The Benefits

The most appropriate lines to treat with Juvéderm™ are those that are described as static lines you can see when your face is not moving (like smile lines). The most commonly treated areas include smile lines (or nasolabial folds), mouth lines (or marionette lines), smoker lines (or vertical lip lines), cheeks or chin.

Enhancement
